La Nicchia restaurant entirely built in a complex of owned Trulli is a real point of reference for local inhabitants and tourists in Alberobello and Puglia. The Niche that inspired the name of the restaurant is a small recess in the stone wall that usually contains sacred statues. For this reason, it is considered a typical architectural detail but also a value of Christian tradition and popular culture.
